Upcoming Volvo EX90 Range

The range value for the Volvo EX90 hasn't been officially released yet for the U.S. market – it's still undergoing EPA testing for an estimation. We'd hate to give you any misleading information, so we'll stick to the facts: the Volvo EX90 will impress with its two robust all-electric powertrains, excellent battery charging time, and impressively large battery pack.

With this three-row SUV at your command, you won't have to worry about stopping to recharge the 111-kWh battery for quite some time while you're attending to errands in Cary, NC. If you do have to power up on long haul trips, the vehicle is expected to have a speedy charging time at public DC fast chargers, so you can grab lunch and be back on the road in no time.

Whether your family can fill the seating for up to seven or your kids bring along some friends to occupy the remainder, you'll still have ample cargo space – up to 67.6 cubic feet – to load up gear for a picnic, a day at the beach, or another family outing. In fact, all of our new Volvo SUVs for sale are spacious vehicles that can serve you well as a new family car.

Volvo EX90 Updates

We're thrilled to announce that Volvo Cars began inviting pre-order customers to submit their customization information as of June 27, 2024. The brand also announced that deliveries for this highly anticipated all-electric SUV are expected to begin in the last quarter of 2024. In addition to this incredible news, Volvo Cars has also clarified some feature information and started a loyalty bonus offer for reservation holders.

The brand stated that several features will be released post-launch or pushed back to the 2026 model year. Here is what we know:

  • Lidar: All Volvo EX90 models will have standard lidar capabilities. Initially, the system will act to collect nonpersonal information and will later enable safety features and contribute to improvements.
  • Apple CarPlay®: Apple CarPlay® will be released an over-the-air update sometime after deliveries begin.
  • Bi-Directional Charging: Vehicle-to-home and vehicle-to-grid bi-directional charging will come as later update, while vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-load charging will be added to 2026 model years instead of the upcoming 2025 Volvo EX90.

Finally, let's discuss the loyalty bonus program we mentioned earlier. For reservation holders who can't wait to command Scandinavian-inspired luxury performance and want to switch their pre-order for a currently available model, Volvo Cars is offering a bonus. You can get $2,500 towards another all-electric Volvo vehicle or $1,500 toward a plug-in or mild hybrid model from the brand's stable.
